Describe the nominee's public speaking experience, such as speaking to community groups, lectures with university classes, at conferences, etc.. Include any public speaking experience that is conducted face-to-face or virtually (e.g., through Zoom, Skype, Facebook, online chat events, etc.).

Nominee's Experience with Live Question & Answer (Q&A)

The nominee must have the ability to participate in a 20-minute, spontaneous Q&A session with the audience following their lecture. Describe how comfortable and capable the nominee will be with answering a range of questions, from the audience, during the live presentation.

Nominee's Video

A video recording is required as part of the nomination process. Please provide a video, up to ten minutes in length, of the nominee answering the following question: "If selected as the 2027 Prentke AAC Lecturer, what would your lecture be about?"
Once you have answered that question, if there is additional time left, feel free to add anything else you would like to share. The nominee can prepare in advance, but their recording cannot be pre-programmed. This is done to confirm the nominee's ability to answer questions generatively following their lecture. The video MUST meet the following criteria to qualify for consideration: 1. Be ten minutes or less in length. 2. Answer the question above. Acceptable formats: Upload an .mp4 video file or provide a link to a recording on a cloud platform in the box below. Please be sure to include any access information, including passwords, to access the video.
