ATIA Continuing Education Credits
Boost Professional Development Credentials
The ATIA Learning Center offers continuing education credits (CEUs) toward professional development requirements with live and recorded courses. The new Learning Center allows you to store your CEU certificates in one easy-to-access location, and now all course registration fees include CEUs.
ATIA is an International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) CE Provider. Each hour of online education instruction equates to 0.1 IACET CEU, and hours are rounded to the nearest tenth of an IACET CEU; for example, a 90-minute course equates to 0.2 IACET CEUs.
IACET CEUs are offered for all online courses. Upon completion of a course, learners must complete an an online IACET CEU assessment. The IACET CEU assessment includes quiz questions based on the learning outcomes of the course. Learners must achieve an 80% pass rate on the assessment to be eligible for IACET CEUs. Once the learner has passed the assessment, the IACET CEU certificate will be available to download. All IACET CEU certificates earned are stored in the learner’s profile. For more information on IACET CEUs for courses, email email@example.com.
Please note that for learners who registered for an online course prior to October 3, 2019, IACET CEUs are obtained by completing an online application. IACET CEU certificates will be distributed by ATIA staff within 2 -3 weeks of receiving a completed online application.
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) ASHA CEUs are offered in speech-language pathology and audiology through ASHA in cooperation with ATIA, an approved ASHA CE Provider. ASHA CEUs are provided to registered attendees for select ATIA online education courses. Not all online education courses offered qualify for ASHA CEUs. Please check the individual course’s description in the Learning Catalog for ASHA CEUs.
Application forms for selected online education courses will be available online at: ATIA Online Education ASHA CEUs Application Form. Please check the individual course description for the number of ASHA CEUs, Level and Category. Each hour of online education instruction equates to 0.1 ASHA CEUs, and ASHA CEU hours are rounded to the nearest half hour. For example, a 60-minute course equates to 0.1 ASHA CEUs and a 90-minute course equates to 0.15 ASHA CEUs.
ASHA CEUs are available via an online assessment upon completion of a course. The ASHA CEUs assessment includes quiz questions based on the learning outcomes of the course. Applicants must achieve an 80% pass rate on the quiz to be eligible for ASHA CEUs. After review by ATIA, applications are passed to ASHA for review and approval. ASHA posts results to an individual’s ASHA CE Registry. Please allow 4-6 weeks for the processing of ASHA CEUs applications.
