International Deaf Awareness Week: September 20-26

Each year, the last full week of September is International Deaf Awareness Week! Started in 1958, this week is meant to bring global awareness to promoting the human rights of Deaf people. The theme of the 2020 International Week of the Deaf is “Reaffirming Deaf People’s Human Rights.” Learn more from the World Federation of the Deaf.
