ATIA 2022 Conference Scholarship Program

ATIA offers a Scholarship Program to assist individuals with disabilities, family members or individuals in financial need to attend the conference. The ATIA 2022 Conference will take place January 26 – January 29, 2022 in Orlando, FL. There are a limited number of scholarships available. Applicants should complete the form below which may include uploading references from an educational institution, assistive technology professional or an AT service agency. Scholarships are for the conference registration fees; unfortunately ATIA is not able to provide financial assistance with travel or accommodation expenses. The deadline to apply is Monday, November 1, 2021. Applicants will be notified by email after applications have been reviewed by the Conference Committee in late November. Scholarship Criteria:

• Applicant must be a consumer (i.e. person with a disability), or a close family member of a consumer.
• Applicant must demonstrate financial need in paying to attend the conference.
• Applicant must show evidence of being a strong advocate for assistive technology (i.e. vocal user, potential buyer, volunteer at a local rehabilitation center, etc).
• Past ATIA Conference Scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply.
