2017 ATIA Member CAP One-On-One Meeting Sign Up

Sign up for a one-on-one meeting to learn more about the Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP), based at US Department of Defense Human Resources Activity, and how it may work with you to support the disability community.  A reminder – CAP is the world’s largest procurer of assistive technology. If you are not familiar with CAP, come and learn more.

The CAP team wants to make the most of their time at ATIA to meet with members and discuss business matters.  The CAP team is available starting on Tuesday afternoon (1/17/17) through Friday morning (1/20/17).  Join Sharon Terrell-Lindsay, Acting Director, Kameelah Montgomery, Acquisition Team Leader and other members of the CAP team for a private session at one of the time slots below.  We encourage members not familiar with CAP to sign up for an hourly time slot. CAP welcomes multiple members from ATIA member organizations to schedule one of the sessions.

The Department of Defense Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP) provides assistive technology and accommodations to federal employees with disabilities and wounded, ill and injured Service members. This 1-1 meeting will discuss CAP’s procurement and payment methods, as well as information on the types of products CAP provides to its customers. There will be an overview of how vendors can participate in our procurement processes. CAP also likes to keep abreast of emerging technology, therefore personnel would also like to have an opportunity to see and learn the benefits of any new technology being introduced.

If you would like to meet with CAP, times will be available starting at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 through 10:30 AM on Friday, January 20, 2017.  All meetings are located in the Governors’ Board Room in the Convention Center, located opposite Boca V.   Time slots go quickly, so reserve your meeting time now!
