ATIA 2025 Conference Scholarship Program
The ATIA Scholarship Program awards scholarships annually to support a diverse pool of individuals with disabilities who are committed to advancing their knowledge, network, and personal development in assistive technology and who would otherwise not be able to attend the conference due to a budget constraint or financial hardship.
ATIA will award complimentary registration to attend the ATIA 2025 Conference, January 30–February 1, 2025 in Orlando, Florida. There are a limited number of scholarships available and scholarships are for conference registration fees only (in-person or virtual). ATIA cannot provide financial assistance for travel or lodging expenses.
Please read below for the applicant criteria and then complete the application form. Please note the application process may include uploading references from an educational institution, assistive technology professional, or an AT service agency.
The deadline to apply is October 28, 2024. Applicants will be notified via email in mid-November.
Scholarship Criteria:
Applicant must:
- Be an individual with a disability (or a close family member of an individual with a disability)
- Demonstrate they would not be able to attend ATIA 2025 because of a budgetary constraint or financial hardship
- Be a strong advocate for assistive technology (i.e. vocal user, give presentations to local groups, volunteer at a local rehabilitation center, etc.).
Please note previous recipients of the ATIA Conference Scholarship are not eligible to apply.
