This presentation will discuss strategies and applications with handheld technology to impact anxiety and stress management. Several case studies will be presented; consumers who experienced a reduction in anxiety that enabled them to enter or remain in the workforce will be highlighted. Apps, “tech support” for habit formation, and motivational interviewing techniques to effect behavior change will be demonstrated. Participants will learn strategies to implement with a variety of populations, including people with anxiety or other mental health issues, autism, ADHD, TBI, and with ages ranging from high school students to older adults.
