Pre-Conference Seminars

Pre-Conference Seminars are all-day workshops held on Tuesday, January 17 and Wednesday, January 18, 2017, presented by leading national and international AT professionals. There are separate fees to attend a Pre-Conference Seminar. Pre-Conference seminars are scheduled from 8 AM – 4 PM with an hour for lunch from 12 PM – 1 PM. Complimentary CEUs are available.

ATIA 2017 Speaker Registration Fees

The speaker fee is $375 and speakers must register by December 2, 2016, to receive this price. After December 2, 2016, speakers will have to pay the full conference attendee fee. Registration will be open September 1, 2016, so be sure to register between September 1 and December 2 to receive the discounted speaker fee.

ATIA Discount Programs

There are a number of discount programs available for the conference. Please note, it is not possible to combine discount programs. Please check the discount program before you register for eligibility criteria, available fees and duration to make sure that it is suitable for you.

Parents and Student Discount Program

Parents of a child with a disability and students enrolled in a full-time program at an academic institution are eligible for a 50% discount on attendee registration fees and a 30% discount on Pre-Conference Seminar fees.

Parent registrations must be accompanied by a letter describing your child’s disability to be eligible for the Parent Discount. The letter can be uploaded during the online registration process.

Student registrations must be accompanied by proof of full-time student enrollment at an academic institution to be eligible for the Student Discount. The proof of full-time student status can be uploaded during the online registration process.

Volunteer Discounts

ATIA is looking for volunteers to serve as Sighted Guides, Session Monitors and/or Poster Scanners for ATIA 2017. Each volunteer is required to work a minimum of 12 hours. In exchange for volunteering onsite, volunteers will receive a 50% discount on ATIA 2017 registration. If you are interested, please contact Jenny Worcester at jworcester@atia.org to discuss available dates/times.

International Participants

Please make sure you have proper documentation to travel to the U.S. If you are uncertain of your particular situation, please contact the nearest Embassy or Consulate to obtain the most accurate information.

For exhibitors and invited attendees requiring a letter of invitation to the conference, please email your request to registration@atia.org.

Registration Cancellation and Refund Policy

A full refund will be granted to cancellations made in writing on or before Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Name changes and substitutions are allowed at no fee. Regrettably, no refunds will be given on cancellations received on or after Wednesday, November 2, 2016.  Phone cancellations will not be accepted. Written cancellations must be sent by email to registration@atia.org or faxed to +1 847-277-7414. Regrettably, no cancellations can be processed after January 22, 2017, after the conclusion of the conference.

Purchase Order Payment Policy

If your organization is required to submit a purchase order for payment, please send your purchase order document with all pages of the registration form. Registrations paid by purchase order are subject to the Cancellation Policy. Purchase order payments are due no later than 30 days after the completion of the conference, by February 22, 2017. Payments received after February 22, 2017, will incur a $75 late payment administrative fee.

Meals

Lunch tickets need to be purchased during the time of registration. Lunch tickets are $17.00 per day.

FREE Exhibit Hall Pass

Access to the Exhibit Hall is available on a complimentary basis. Pre-registration is required; when you are in the registration website, you can select the Exhibit Hall Only registration option.

  • 1/19/17: 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Closed for lunch from 1 – 2 PM)
