Membership

Since 1998, the Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) has been providing a community for companies who offer innovative technologies and services to enhance learning, working, and independence for people with disabilities. Our mission is to serve as the collective voice of the Assistive Technology industry so that the best products and services are delivered to persons with disabilities.

Members of ATIA include for-profit, not-for-profit, and private organizations located across the globe. ATIA is the premier organization for manufacturers, sellers and providers of technology-based assistive devices and/or services. Our members also include many of the IT community who are taking a leadership role with their accessibility initiatives.

In January 2010, ATIA and the Accessibility Interoperability Alliance (AIA) announced a merger agreement where AIA became a new technical and engineering division within ATIA. The Accessibility Interoperability Alliance (AIA) brings companies together to collaborate on the design and delivery of solutions to long-standing Accessible Technology/Information Technology (AT/IT) interoperability challenges.   To join AIA at the AT Developer or IT Developer level, you must first become a member of ATIA. 

PLEASE  NOTE: You do not have to be a member to attend ATIA Education events such as the ATIA Conference, Leadership Event on Accessibility or an educational webinar. We encourage individuals with disabilties,  educators, AT practitioners and interested members of the public to attend these educational offerings..
