Taxi Service
Individuals who wish to take a taxi from Midway or O’hare to the hotel without paying city rates, tolls and fuel charges, should contact a suburban taxi service in advance or upon arrival at Midway or O’hare. They do not charge for fuel or tolls.

Rates to and from O’Hare are approximately $30. For Midway arrivals, the taxi rate is almost double.

It is strongly suggested that you phone ahead of time for taxi service or you can call a taxi at the kiosk near baggage claim in both airports. American Taxi is a preferred company by the Renaissance Schaumburg. Please call 847.640.8294 for their rate information and to coordinate pick-up.

DO NOT take a taxi that is sitting outside in the City Cabstand area of the two airports. These are city cabs and they will charge for fuel, tolls and an additional 1.50 on your meter for travel outside of the city.

Chicago Transportation Information
Transportation information for the Chicago area including Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Metra commuter rail and Pace suburban buses can be found on the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) Web site at: http://www.rtachicago.com/

Individuals who wish to take the Metra, should take the Union Pacific District Northwest Line to Arlington Park, from the Olgive Transporation Center on Madison and Canal. Please call the Renaissance Schaumburg in advance for shuttle service upon arrival at Arlington Park.

PACE ADA Paratransit Service

If a visitor is unable to present this documentation, Pace will require documentation of residency and disability. Documentation of eligibility for Paratransit Service for out-of-town visitors should be made at least seven days before the first desired day of travel.  Visitors will not be provided service for more than twenty-one consecutive days from the date of the first paratransit trip. Customers who wish to receive service beyond this twenty-one day period must apply for eligibility with the RTA.
