RESNA Testing Took Place at the ATIA Orlando 2009 Conference!

Certification of a service provider, in any field, is the process by which a non-governmental agency or association validates an individual’s qualifications and knowledge in a defined functional or clinical area. The Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) hosted an administration of two certification tests on Wednesday, January 28, 2009. RESNA, an interdisciplinary association of people with a common interest in technology and disability, is planning to offer national certification for two specialties: Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP) and Assistive Technology Supplier (ATS).
