Accessibility Interoperability Alliance Merges With ATIA
Chicago, IL, March 1, 2010 - The Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) and the Accessibility Interoperability Alliance (AIA) announced a merger agreement where AIA will become a new technical and engineering division within ATIA.

Chicago, IL, February 3, 2010 – The Assistive Technology Industry Association’s (ATIA) Orlando conference wrapped up last week marking the organization’s eleventh consecutive Orlando-area conference. Over 2,300 attendees were at the conference featuring 275+ educational sessions for educators, therapists and specialists, as well as a showcase of more than 120 companies and organizations that provide assistive technologies to enhance learning, working, and independence for people with disabilities.
 
AOTA Joins ATIA's Growing List of Alliance Partners
Chicago, IL, January 25, 2010 - The Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) is pleased to announce that the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) has joined ATIA’s Alliance Partnership Program. As an ATIA Alliance Partner, AOTA will offer discounted program registration to its members while promoting other ATIA educational programs and conferences.    
 
November 26, 2009 – The Assistive Technology Industry Association’s (ATIA) first Chicago conference, which ended October 31, 2009, was a resounding success, with one of the largest list of attendees in the organization’s 10-year history.

Assistive Technology Industry Association Adds New Alliance Partners
October 6, 2009 - The Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) is pleased to announce that two new organizations have joined ATIA as Alliance Partners. The new Alliance Partners are the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).

ATIA Video Contest Winner Shows How Life-Changing Assistive Technology Is
October 13, 2009 - The ATIA (Assistive Technology Industry Association) is pleased to announce the winners of its Video YouTube Contest. The goal of the contest was to raise awareness about the power of assistive technology and how life-changing and enhancing it can be for individuals and their families.  The grand prize is an all-expenses paid trip to the ATIA 2009 Chicago Conference (October 28-31, 2009) held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center. 

ATIA Expands Educational Offerings 
July 24, 2009 - The Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) has expanded the reach of its educational offerings with the introduction of the ATIA Webinar Series. The series complements ATIA's conferences and leadership forums, which have distinguished ATIA as a leading association dedicated to education related to Assistive Technology. With the introduction of the ATIA Webinar Series, ATIA hopes to further increase awareness of the innovative assistive technologies and services that enhance learning, working, and independence for people with disabilities.
